ASCAR Managing Director, Mike Schmidt, has announced dates for the first ASCAR track tests.
Following some engine development work in March, ASCAR test driver Mike Jordan will conduct the first track test programme at Leicestershire's Donington Park Circuit in April. Provisonal dates of Thursday April 13th and Wednesday April 26th have been booked and ASCAR personnel will be on hand to on both days to provide information about ASCAR and its progress. It is also hoped to conduct some tests during March on the banked test track at MIRA, near Nuneaton.
Also look out for a special feature on ASCAR in the March issue of Car and Car Conversions publication, and in May both Autosport and Motoring News have arranged ASCAR track tests.
