Today saw the new ASCAR hit the track at the Motor Industry proving ground, (MIRA), at Nuneaton.
The private test went extremely well, with both ASCAR MD, Mike Schmidt, and test driver Mike Jordan both very happy with the performance of both car and engine. During the test Mike, (Jordan), was topping 190mph on the back straight of the banked MIRA track, Mike couldn't believe how fast the car was.
Further tests are planned for both Mallory Park and Donington Park, to take place in March and April.
